That was some of the best level design of any indie and nonindie games ive ever played

oh cool, Cheesey Mousey got a sorta sequel! I definitely like the change that now you phase through other color platforms rather than getting killed by them, it adds a lot of cool potential platforming challenges to the game. The wall climb mechanic is cool too.

I think while the dash was cool it was a good move removing it because it simplifies the controls. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the movement and acceleration felt better in Cheesey Mousey

Thanks for playing friend!

Yes I also think dashing in mouse makes it hard for people who never played platformer before and I am trying some new ideas on this game as it fits the theme so well.

The control part is tough in a 2-day time frame though lol. Almost reused all the code I can and still spend a whole day on level design and bug fixing. Originally I wanna create some kind of sticky feeling to the slime, but it was hard for me to figure it out in a two day window. So I think at some point I may update this game to a more complete version in terms of controls, levels, mechanics and story.

Still thanks for your useful advice, I’m looking forward to your next game!

I feel that, controls and player physics are hard to get right and I usually spend waaayy too much time on it. I think the wall climbing definitely made the slime feel sticky, and different than the mouse. I would definitely like to check out the updated version of the game, your games are always fun and it would be cool to see this one as polished as mousey. My next game probably won't be for a while, classes have started up again so all of my free time is about to evaporate

A really good game with an interesting concept, Despite the fact that the movement felt a little off at times it was great!

Really good game! It might be just me, but the key mapping was... off. It didn't feel right for my hands. But other than that, really good and hard.

Thanks for playing!

I think I should add custom control in this game later on as being able to feel right controlling the character is so important in platformer
